About
Welcome to Shutter Experiments
I’m an experimental, self-taught photographer and the purpose of this photography blog is to share my knowledge, skills and ideas with other creative photographers on the Web.
I strongly encourage every photographer to seek out knowledge about photography on the Internet, share their work, push the boundaries of digital photography and take part in numerous inspiring photography communities such as Flickr, 500px and 1x.
I personally recommend the following sites as an excellent source of inspiration and sound advice on digital photography from both amateur and professional photographers all over the globe.
Cruzine | The DPhoto | Digital Photography School | Farbspiel Photography | 2Photo | Picture Correct | The Big Picture | PetaPixel and many more.
If you are interested in my photography, please visit my Flickr photostream and 360cities account.
Please note that almost all the pictures in this blog have been uploaded in good quality and belong to me (apart from the ones explicitly credited to other photographers). Please feel free to download them for your own personal use. However, I strongly object to anyone using my photographs for any commercial purposes as the images have ‘All Rights Reserved’. Please contact me before doing so.
Thanks for reading and please don’t forget to subscribe.

Wow – you are so amazing. Are you a professional making a living from photography or is this just a hobby that you are so very good at?

Thank you. I’m glad you like my blog. I’m not a professional but I really love experimenting with pictures and it has become my greatest hobby.

You have a lot of great content – you could turn them into a book. Nowadays, book publishing is practically free.
